This was a very entertaining game to finish off the season against a spirited South Wales touring side in conditions more suited to summer sports.

Kieran Hurrell crossed for the first home try after 7 minutes for Lewis Woolaway to convert and the score was increased 17 minutes later when Hurrell went over for another good individual try, this time converted by Chris Carpenter. The visitors were rewarded with their own try just before the interval following some strong attacking play to change ends with the score 14-5.

Llanahilleth immediately reduced the home lead two minutes into the second half with a converted try but Phil Eatwell hit back by crossing on the left wing for Kieran Down to kick the extra points (21-12). Some good exchanges followed before Max Venables, who was making a rare appearance for Saltash broke through the Welsh team's defence for a try which Kieran Down again converted. It was now the turn of Llanahilleth to come back after 58 minutes with their third try before they ran out of steam and Saltash went on to add to their total with tries from Kieran Down, Ollie Crawford, Ryan Cruickshanks and Axel Nicks with Kieran Down converting three of them.
